Hālau Nā Mamo O Pu'uanahulu was opened on
October 20, 2006 in Soshigaya Okura, Tokyo Japan
and on March 5, 2013 a satellite hālau in Yoyogi Koen, Tokyo Japan.
Led by both Kumu Hula Lōpaka Igarta-De Vera, and Kumu Hula William Kahakuleilehua Haunu'u "Sonny" Ching. Our hālau strives to bring dignity to the Hawaiian Culture, The Hawaiian people, and to Hālau Nā Mamo O Pu'uanahulu by striving to be a shining example of someone who lives Hawaiian values and traditions through mele and the art form we call hula.
Hālau Nā Mamo O Pu'uanahulu consists of 18 papa hula that of Kūpuna, Wahine Waipah, Wahine, and Kāne
